I’m Melissa Barronton, a Professional Home Stager & Redesigner and owner of fynHome Staging & Redesign. I’m a native to Atlanta and have a Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering from Georgia Tech. When we sold our first home in 2005, our agent had a home home stager come in and help us prepare our house to sell. After being exposed to home staging and learning about the techniques & philosophy, I knew that I wanted to stage homes professionally. Staging brings together my love for design and organization and my experience with making simple but effective changes in my own home to serve others. Over the next few years I continued to design and decorate in my own home while enviously watching stagers on HGTV. In 2012, I started fynHome Staging over the last several years I have staged hundreds of occupied homes, scores of vacant homes and dozens of model homes. I have also helped homeowners choose interior and exterior colors and taken on a number of redesign clients.
I first started my business in Newnan, Georgia and then moved to Cumming, Georgia for my husband’s work. After successfully growing my staging business throughout Metro Atlanta, I recently moved back to Newnan, Georgia to be closer to family again. I stage throughout the Metro Atlanta area all the way to Athens, GA.
My husband and I have two grown children, a granddaughter, and two doodle pups.
I offer a wide variety of home staging services, including occupied consultations to full vacant stagings, color consultations, model homes, and everything in between. Rates start at $150 for a staging consultations. Every staging is different so I customize my staging offerings and style to meet the needs of each property.
I take on a limited number of redesign clients each year so that I can provide the best experience possible. Home is important to me and creating a home that is practical, functional, and comfortable is my passion.
I also mentor and train aspiring stagers.
